  • St. Margaretsbury Sports Club and Recreational Ground: There are first class Cricket, Football and Tennis club facilities at the St. Margaretsbury Recreational Ground Charitable Trust.  The Clubhouse has a comfortable Bar, with Pool Table, SKY Sports on two plasma screens and hall for hire.  Annual membership cost is very modest.

  • St Margaretsbury Football Club is a village club founded in 1894 (as Stanstead Abbotts FC), and prides itself on being friendly, yet highly successful at the senior level. The Senior First Team have played in the Premier Division since 1991 against 'Town' teams such as Hertford Town. The Club has coaching for young players from 4 to 7 years old, match play from 7 to 60 years plus, with mini-soccer, 9x9, 11x11... all the way up to Veterans.  Please see our website for details:
